وَلَقَدْ جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَهُمْ ظَـٰلِمُونَAnd there had certainly come to them a Messenger from among themselves, but they denied him; so punishment overtook them while they were wrongdoers.
