ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ أَيْمَـٰنَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌThey took their [false] oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allāh, and for them is a humiliating punishment.
