Al-'Asr · The Declining Day
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَٱلْعَصْرِBy time,إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍIndeed, mankind is in loss,إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِExcept for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.
الهمزة
Al-Humazah · The Traducer
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍWoe to every scorner and mockerٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُۥWho collects wealth and [continuously] counts it.يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥHe thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.كَلَّا لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِNo! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُAnd what can make you know what is the Crusher?نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُIt is the fire of Allāh, [eternally] fueled,ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِWhich mounts directed at the hearts.إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌIndeed, it [i.e., Hellfire] will be closed down upon themفِى عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭIn extended columns.
الفيل
Al-Fil · The Elephant
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْفِيلِHave you not considered, [O Muḥammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِيلٍDid He not make their plan into misguidance?وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَAnd He sent against them birds in flocks,تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍStriking them with stones of hard clay,فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍۭAnd He made them like eaten straw.
